This list of items will allow your recruiting team to be fully prepared for the Fall 2021 SEC Engineering Career Fair. We are currently adding information to this site so be sure to check this frequently leading up to the Career Fair.

1. Detailed Itinerary

Tuesday, September 7th

  • Company Check-In: 2PM - 5PM @ Kyle Field Entry 1
  • Company Showcase: 2PM - 5PM @ Memorial Student Center

Wednesday, September 8th & Thursday, September 9th

  • Company Check-In: 7AM - 9AM @ Kyle Field Entry 1
  • Hot Breakfast: 7AM - 9AM @ Legacy Club
  • Exhibition: 9AM - 4PM @ Kyle Field Hall of Champions and All-American Club
  • Hot Lunch: 11AM - 2PM @ Founders Lobby
  • Check Out: 4PM @ Kyle Field Entry 1

Friday, September 10th

  • Virtual Exhibition: 9AM - 4PM @ Career Fair Plus

2. Hotel Accommodations

3. Parking

Click HERE to find more information about parking during the days of the Career Fair. This includes free parking lots and paid parking garages.

4. Updated Company & Attendee Information

Please make sure that you have recorded the names of all attending company representatives on your company dashboard. This will ensure that name tags will be available for recruiters at company check-in (in-person Career Fair only). Click HERE to log in to your company dashboard, and click on the "Edit Registration" link.

Also, please ensure that all company information is correct on the Company Search for Students and Career Fair Plus. Both of these websites will be used by thousands of students to view company information and learn more about your company. Please contact us at careerfair@sec.tamu.edu if you see any issues.

5. Company Meeting Format

This semester, we will be offering two different formats for meetings with students: walk-ups and scheduled meetings.

If you are planning on bringing more than 1 recruiter, you could also utilize both meeting formats (if in-person) to get the most out of your meetings with students.

Walk-Ups (Queue Lines)

** Only available for in-person (Wednesday and Thursday)

The default option for meeting with students is to have walk-ups and queue lines, as what has been done in all previous Career Fairs. There is no action required if this is the option that you would like to utilize.

Scheduled In-Person Meetings (Career Fair Plus platform)

** Only available for in-person (Wednesday and Thursday)

In-person meetings can be scheduled via the Career Fair Plus platform. The perks of this include being able to space out students (for convenience and COVID-19 concerns), being able to require prerequisites (i.e. GPA, major, etc.), and knowing when you will be talking to students.

NOTE: This will require setup on the Career Fair Plus platform. For help with the platform, please see our Platform Tutorials page.

Scheduled Virtual Meetings (Career Fair Plus platform)

** Only available for virtual (Friday)

Virtual meetings will only take place on the Career Fair Plus platform. These will include integrated text, audio, and video chat, and the option to use the Career Fair Plus platform for the meeting, or linking an external meeting website (Zoom, Microsoft Teams, etc.).

NOTE: This will require setup on the Career Fair Plus platform. For help with the platform, please see our Platform Tutorials page.

6. Schedule Interview Rooms

If your company wants to setup interview rooms during or after the Career Fair, please log on to HireAggies (careercenter.tamu.edu) and select "Create New Schedule Request". While you are there, we also encourage you to post your available positions on HireAggies. This allows all students to see their opportunities and submit resumes, not just those that attend the SEC Engineering Career Fair. This can be done by logging on to HireAggies and clicking "Create Job Posting".

7. Shipping

Please plan to ship your booth materials to arrive at Texas A&M University the week of September 1st - September 7th and we will have your boxes waiting at your booth when you arrive. Send booth materials to the address listed below:

9. Company Check-In

Companies check-in is available on:

  • Tuesday, September 7th from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM
  • Wednesday, September 8th from 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM
  • Thursday, September 9th from 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM

You only need to check in once.
